At Transforming Lives Church, we are committed to doing our part to help fulfil the Great Commission (Mathew 28:16-20). We are also aware that there are many people in our Bridgeport community who have not heard the good news of the Gospel. TLC is committed to “going out” instead of waiting for waiting for them to come to us (Luke 14:23).
Our goal is to infiltrate our community, so that we might meet and build relationships with those who are un-churched, in order to create an opportunity to win them for Christ.
In addition to regular street outreach, TLC is currently involved in the following local missions initiatives.
Hot Dog Ministry
During the warmer months, we serve free hot dogs, chips, and water to our neighbors. A prayer tent is also erected during this event and affords us the opportunity to pray for various members of our community.
No Trick Our Treat
N.T.O.T is our evangelistic alternative to Halloween. During the Halloween weekend, TLC occupies a local street corner in order to hand out candy and other goodies to children in our community. Parents are not forgotten, as they are presented with a goody bag as well. Prayer is also available for those who desire it.

For Easter, we create gift baskets for kids in our local hospitals
Christmas Toy Giveaway
At TLC we believe that no child should be without a gift for Christmas. Yet, many children in our community go without. Each Christmas season, we welcome families into our church for a Christmas program and gift giveaway. Gifts are also donated to our local hospitals and homeless shelters.
